RiverSouth Delivers First Cross-Platform, Wallet-Based Access Without Rip-and-Replace
RiverSouth – a Class A commercial real estate property developed by Stream Realty Partners and QuadReal in Austin, Texas – launched support for employee badge in Apple Wallet and corporate badge in Google Wallet.

The goal was to deliver a secure, intuitive entry experience.
This launch made it the first property to enable seamless NFC access across the major digital wallet providers.
Working alongside Wavelynx, SwiftConnect implemented this experience by integrating our AccessCloud platform with RiverSouth’s existing access control system. Employees and tenants can now use their iPhone, Apple Watch, Android, or Galaxy device to access parking garages, elevator destination dispatch kiosks, smart lockers, and amenities like the gym; no physical badge required.
The Opportunity
“We aim to give the people at RiverSouth the most appealing experiences that enrich their digital-first lifestyles, while delivering the ‘cool factor’ of using a smartphone or smartwatch to access our building with remarkable ease. Making NFC access available in digital wallets from all of the major providers is an innovation that will change the way everyone can navigate our corporate buildings and spaces.”
